Office for Disability

The Office for Disability is the first of its kind in Australia and leads the Victorian Government's drive for universal change to improve the lives of people with a disability.

The office was set up to work with private and public sector partners to promote the government’s long-term vision for inclusion and help improve community attitudes.

Absolutely everyone - state disability plan 2017-2020

The office developed the Absolutely everyone - state disability plan 2017-2020 in consultation with people with a disability.

The plan commits us to actions that will build inclusive communities and help increase access to affordable housing, public transport, schools and jobs. We also want to ensure people with a disability can make the most of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and that they can address barriers to participation.
