Victorian Youth Fest is an exciting month-long celebration of young people, held every year in September.
Applications for Youth Fest 2026 grants are now open for youth-led events and activities.
If you’re part of an organisation that works with or for young people, you can apply for funding up to $2,000 to deliver events this September.
Successful organisations will be required to work with young people aged 12 to 25 to design, coordinate and deliver Youth Fest events.
Applications are open to schools, local government and community organisations in Victoria.
Types of events Youth Fest grants have funded include:
- youth-led mural creations transforming public spaces
- film competitions showcasing emerging talent
- cultural days filled with music, dance and tradition
- community festivals with live bands, market stalls and activities
- sporting tournaments or showdowns
- trivia nights, video-gaming tournaments or friendly e-sports competitions.
Applications close 1:00 PM, Wednesday 4 March 2026.
