The Victorian Government is proud to announce its continued support of RSL Victoria and the veteran community.
As part of this support, RSL Victoria will receive $680,000 over two years to deliver major Anzac Day commemorations in Melbourne.
These events include the Dawn Service followed by the Commemorative March and wreath‑laying service, held at the Shrine of Remembrance in 2026 and 2027.
Anzac Day remains a deeply significant for Victorians. With tens of thousands of people attending services and taking part in commemorations each year.
Since 2021, the Victorian Government has provided almost $2.2 million to RSL Victoria. Through direct funding and veterans grant programs, helping to support statewide commemorations.
A further $3.1 million has also been given to RSL sub-branches across Victoria over the same period. Supporting the delivery of local services and community events that bring people together to remember and reflect.
