The selected Aboriginal-led projects will address family violence through innovative and culturally appropriate initiatives.

The successful recipients for 2025-26 include Nairm MarrDjambana, who will run a culturally grounded life skills and respectful relationships program for Aboriginal young people.

Another funded organisation is Goolum Goolum Aboriginal Co-operative. They will run a Hoops against Violence program.

Aboriginal Community Elders Services will run workshops to build awareness of Elder Abuse. This will help to ensure that Elders can recognise it,and know where support is available.

The funding is a part of Dhelk Dja: Safe Our Way (2018–2028), a Victorian Aboriginal-led agreement between Victorian Aboriginal communities, Aboriginal organisations and the Victorian Government to address family violence.
