DFFH’s MARAM learning program is now available for staff in the family violence service system.
The training is free and will help build skills to identify and manage risks when working with adults using family violence.
DFFH has engaged with No to Violence and Safe and Equal to deliver the training.
Sessions are available now until June 2025.
Who needs to complete this training
The training is for professionals who work within MARAM ‘prescribed’ organisations, and work with people affected by family violence.

DFFH Child Protection, Housing and Forensic Disability staff will receive customised training.
Identification
One day training for professionals who may come in contact with family violence victim survivors or adults using family violence while providing universal services.

Intermediate
One and a half day training for professionals who may have contact with people experiencing or using family violence in their work, but responding to family violence is not their core role or function.
