Applications for round 3 of the Victorian Government’s Regional Disability Worker Scholarships program are now open.
Disability support work students in regional areas can apply for support to become qualified and start their careers. The scholarships support students as they complete the unpaid placement part of their study.
Payments of $3,500 are available to students studying with an approved Victorian training provider. At the time of applications assessment, the applicants must be a student or recent graduate of:
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) (CHC33021), or
- Certificate IV in Disability Support (CHC43121).
You may be eligible if you’re doing a dual Ageing and Disability specialisation of the Certificate III in Individual Support.
The scholarships are available for domestic students living in regional and rural Victoria.
Applications close at 4 pm on Tuesday 15 September 2026. This will be the final round of the program.
