We are excited to announce the 12 recipients of this year’s Premier’s Spirit of Anzac Prize.

Through the Prize, 12 students in Years 9 to 12 from across the state will go on a fully funded study tour to Vietnam.

On the tour, Prize recipients have memorable, enriching and impactful experiences. Over the 9-day tour, they’ll visit historical and culturally significant sites across the country.

Students will have the opportunity to learn firsthand about the impacts of the Vietnam War.

The legacy of the Vietnam War has shaped generations of Victorians, fostering enduring relationships between veterans, Vietnamese Australians, and the broader community through shared experiences of resilience and reconciliation.

The Spirit of Anzac Prize launched in 2005. Since then, the Prize has supported more than 500 Victorian students to learn more about the Anzac spirit and our wartime history.

The study tour offers a unique experience for Prize recipients to better understand our history encourages young Victorians to learn about and reflect on service.
