The development of a masterplan for the old Beaufort Primary School site has begun – a formal process for identifying a shared, long-term vision for the space.
The Pyrenees Shire Council will manage this work, consulting with community to explore ideas for potential future uses of the site.
Beaufort community and Traditional Owner input will be at the core of the planning process to reflect the site’s rich heritage.
Victorian Government funding of $800,000 will support the council to lead the masterplan’s development and some early works to maintain the site.
