The Victorian Government is investing in projects that commemorate veterans' service, ensuring we honour and support the wellbeing of the ex-service community.
We are proud to announce over $1.5 million in funding for the successful recipients of the Anzac Day Proceeds Fund and Victoria Remembers grant programs.
Through the Anzac Day Proceeds Fund, we're funding 20 organisations more than $1.1 million to ensure veterans and their families can access welfare and wellbeing initiatives.
Victoria Remembers will also fund 27 organisations more than $410,000. Funding will support organisations to honour, commemorate and uphold the legacy of service men and women by educating Victorians about their contributions.
The Victorian Government delivers these grants in partnership with the Victorian Veterans Council (VVC). It is part of our ongoing effort to ensure the wellbeing of veterans and their families, while educating Victorians about their service and sacrifice.
