Disability self help grants now open

A new round of grants to support Victorian-based disability self help groups is now open.
10 November 2025

Grants of up to $7,000 a year for one or two years are available to assist disability self help groups to run.

Disability self help groups provide valuable peer support for people with disability, and their families and carers. They boost social connection, mental health and wellbeing.

The grants assist with administrative costs, communications and activities that strengthen the group.

Applying for grants

We invite applications from all eligible groups. We are interested to hear from groups representing diverse communities and those in regional areas.

The Office for Disability is holding an online information session on Thursday, 27 November 2025. This session will provide more information about the program for groups that are interested to apply.
