Neighbourhood houses mean so much to so many. Across our state, they are places for people to come together to learn, share experiences and find support.
Neighbourhood House Week is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate these vibrant community hubs.
This year's event will take place from 11 to 17 May. The theme, ‘Your place to connect’, reflects the sense of community and belonging that neighbourhood houses provide.
You can join the celebrations by:
- visiting your local house
- attending an event
- sharing your story
- helping others get involved.
From volunteering in your community, to new skills and friendships, neighbourhood houses are your places to connect!
The Victorian Government is proud to invest in the Neighbourhood House Coordination Program, and support more than 400 neighbourhood houses in communities across our state.
