Neighbourhood Houses are places where communities can connect, learn, get support and give back.
From 12–18 May, celebrate Neighbourhood House Week by taking part at an event in your community.
This year’s theme, “Ripples of Change”, reminds us that small acts of kindness and connection can lead to big impacts.
There are so many ways we can work together to make meaningful change in our local neighbourhoods and beyond. Whether it’s by helping others, volunteering or just getting to know your neighbours, every action we take helps build more connected communities.
The Victorian Government proudly supports neighbourhood houses through the Neighbourhood House Coordination program. This program provides over $43 million a year in funding to neighbourhood houses, regional networks and the peak body to help strengthen communities across the state.
