Bisexual Awareness Week is an annual celebration from 16 September, concluding with Bisexual Visibility Day on 23 September.
Bisexual Awareness Week aims to:
- raise awareness of bisexuality and the bi+ community
- combat stigma and bisexual erasure
- celebrate the history and achievements of bisexual and multisexual spectrum.
Bisexuality can refer to a range of multigender attracted orientations. Different people use different definitions with nuance and flexibility.
No matter how our bi+ Victorians define themselves, they deserve to feel safe, supported and equal.
