PEFF supports LGBTIQA+ community led events and festivals that build social connections, strengthen community networks, foster social cohesion and participation, and ensure Victoria leads the way in celebrating LGBTIQA+ culture.
Organisers of small rainbow events and festivals can apply for grants of up to $10,000, while those planning larger events can apply for up to $25,000.
Since the program first started in 2018, PEFF has supported over 250 rainbow events and festivities across Victoria.
These events play a crucial role in fostering a sense of community, promoting acceptance and understanding, and combatting discrimination and prejudice.
The Victorian Government is proud to fund this program as part of its broader efforts to embed equality in Victoria through our 10-year LGBTIQA+ strategy, Pride in our Future: Victoria’s LGBTIQA+ strategy 2022-32
