The Child Protection Employment Program is a paid 12-week full-time or 16-week part-time program that gives students hands on experience of what it is like to work in child protection.
Students undertaking their final year of study in 2027 in social work or a related field are encouraged to apply.
The program gives participants the opportunity to build skills:
- in a structured and supportive learning environment
- alongside experienced practitioners.
It is also a pathway to an entry level Child Protection Practitioner (CPP) level 3 role (CPP3).
