It’s time to celebrate the incredible 2026 Victorian Protecting Children Awards (VPCA) finalists!
Congratulations to the remarkable people and teams named across 12 categories! These finalists are being recognised for helping ensure children, young people and families are safe, supported and thriving.
The outstanding finalists were named from 149 quality nominations.

The VPCA celebrate the Victorian child and family services sector and community. These prestigious awards have been running for 23 years.
Anyone could nominate people working across:
- the child and family services sector
- child protection
- government
- academic organisations.
People could also nominate:
- foster carers
- kinship carers
- permanent carers
- volunteers
- community members.
Ceremony event
Winners will be awarded at the 2026 VPCA ceremony event on Thursday 3 September.
We look forward to then celebrating all who have a positive impact working with children, young people and families during Child Protection Week. This includes the winners, finalists and nominees.
