Victoria’s disability community, sector, friends and family all celebrated the finalists and winners at the State Library Victoria.
Finalists joined the Minister for Disability, the Hon Lizzie Blandthorn MP at the venue where people were recognised and winners were announced across the 4 categories:
- Advocacy for People
- Leadership in Co-design
- Disability Pride Champion
- Lifetime Achievement Award.
The Victorian Disability Awards recognise a person, group, or organisation that:
- champion disability rights and inclusion
- show best practice policy delivery and advocacy
- are role models in their own communities and across Victoria
- promote disability pride.
