The 2026-27 Victoria’s Pride Regional Activation Program supports regional arts and cultural events, projects and activations for LGBTIQA+ communities across Victoria. Projects are hosted in the lead up to the Victoria’s Pride Street Party on Sunday 7 February in Fitzroy.

Among this year’s recipients are ‘Mornington Peninsula QUEERmas’. This is a celebration of community, connection and chosen family at a time of year when relationships with biological family can be challenging. In Bendigo, ‘Worldbuilders’ will pair professional cosplay artists with young LGBTIQA+ people to build costumes, props and augmented-reality creatures.

The Victoria’s Pride Regional Activation Program is led by LGBTIQA+ arts and cultural organisation Midsumma Festival Inc., in partnership with the Victorian Government. It is part of the Victorian Government’s broader work to drive equality for and with LGBTIQA+ people through its landmark plan, Pride in our future: Victoria's LGBTIQA+ strategy 2022–32.
