It’s time to celebrate – finalists have been announced for the 2025 Victorian Protecting Children Awards (VPCA)!
These prestigious annual awards have been running for 22 years, honouring demonstrated excellence in working with children, young people and families.
This year marks the fourth year in a row of the VPCA receiving a record number of nominations! From the 178 quality nominations in 2025, the outstanding finalists have now been named.
Congratulations to all the finalists being recognised for their exceptional efforts towards making a positive difference for children, young people and families in Victoria.

Anyone could nominate people working across the child and family services sector, child protection, government and academic organisations, foster, kinship and permanent carers, volunteers and community members.
Winners across the 12 award categories will be presented at the 2025 VPCA ceremony event held in the lead up to Child Protection Week on Tuesday 2 September 2025.
We look forward to then celebrating the winners, finalists and nominees during Child Protection Week.
