The Department of Families, Fairness and Housing 2021 strategic plan is the department’s first strategic plan since its establishment on 1 February 2021.

The plan outlines what the department is doing to achieve the outcomes and the vision to empower communities to build a fairer and safer Victoria.

Statement of support for Aboriginal self-determination
There have been significant steps to advance Aboriginal self-determination in Victoria through both the Treaty and formal Truth-telling process through the Yoo-rrook Commission.
