Explore the Victorian Seniors Festival this October

The Victorian Seniors Festival returns this October with free and low-cost events right across Victoria.
1 October 2024

For more than 40 years, the Victorian Seniors Festival has celebrated the important and diverse contributions of older Victorians and encouraged community participation.

The Festival features everything from country concerts, dances and high teas, to exciting new events celebrating the diversity of our community.

The theme of the 2024 Victorian Seniors Festival – ‘Explore. Engage. Evolve.’ – encourages older Victorians to stay curious and connected by exploring new activities, meeting new people, and changing how we think of ageing.

Free public transport for Seniors Card cardholders

Victorian Seniors Card cardholders can enjoy 8 days of free public transport throughout Victoria from 6 to 13 October 2024. This includes travel across all metropolitan services, V/Line train and coach services, and selected regional bus services outside of the myki-enabled area.

More details are available on Seniors Online.
