Amendment to homelessness services guidelines and conditions of funding
The 'COVID-19 Amendment to homelessness services guidelines and conditions of funding' has been released to assist homelessness services when responding to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Homelessness service providers should consider these guidelines, alongside other materials provided by the Department of Health and Human Services (Victoria) and the Department of Health (Commonwealth) to determine how coronavirus (COVID-19) may impact their service, their residents or clients and their workforce and use those insights to determine further planning and preparedness.
The coronavirus (COVID-19) amendment to homelessness services guidelines and conditions of funding will become a temporary amendment to the Homelessness services guidelines and conditions of funding (May 2014).

The coronavirus (COVID-19) Rent Relief Grant is a payment available to Victorian renters who have lost income as a result of the coronavirus (COVID-19) health emergency and who are experiencing rental hardship by paying more than 30 percent of their income in rent.
The grant provides direct financial support to renters by contributing towards the cost of their rent directly to their landlord on their behalf.
